Why I design

Loving the ocean wasn’t enough.

When I started surfing, I shared the water with bottles, wrappers and plastic bags. That’s when I knew loving the ocean wasn’t enough. Now my mission is to make a positive impact wherever I can.

As a designer, that looks like this

Safer nights

I designed Wander Women to help women feel safer walking alone at night.

Voices heard

I’ve led design workshops for 100+ girls, so more of them see a place in tech.

Fewer barriers

I design accessible experiences, so people of every ability can use what I make.

Lighter footprint

I choose lower-impact design, and use storytelling to raise climate awareness.

I also lean into AI instead of backing away from it. At Lenovo, I design AI across laptops, phones and tablets, and I want to be on the front line, shaping it to be more ethical, lighter on the planet, and genuinely useful.
